現在 4月 昔 卯月 うづき
意味 うつぎは卯の花「ウツギの花」が咲く季節なので「うの花つき」と訳されている
といわれている。色々の説がある。うつぎの花＝雪見草（ゆきみぐさ））Deutzia
季節を感じる:３月の終わりから４月にかけては日本の有名な桜の季節が来る。
暖かく木々は芽吹き春爛漫の季節到来である
４月の行事：日本の学校は４月が新学期となる。就職も４月から。
新入社員が新しく社会人としてスタートするつきでもある。
４月の休日：昭和の日として昭和天皇の誕生日を記念して全ての機関が休みとなる。
この日をスタートにして５月のゴールデンウィークへとつながり５月の
「憲法記念日」、「みどりの日」「こどもの日」と続き週末の休みを入れると多い会社では１０連休などと言うところもある。
この休みを利用して海外への旅行がラッシュになるのも夏のお盆休み、
暮れの正月休みと同じく日本人の楽しみの一つである。
４月は外国から多くの観光客が桜見物に来日する。

お辞儀 (Bowing)Introduction
Bows are traditional greeting in Japan than any other East Asian countries.
Shaking hands is not common in Japan. The Japanese greet each other by bowing
Bowing is performed not only for greeting, but also for expressing different emotions including respect, apologies and gratitude. Bows are made in various traditional settings such as tea ceremony and martial arts. Bows are performed with the back straight and the hands at the sides, and with the eyes down. Bows form at the waist. Normally, the longer and deeper the bow, the stronger the emotion. Generally, an inferior bows longer and more deeply, and more often than a superior.
But since foreigners are not expected to know proper bowing rules, just nodding your head is usually sufficient.
Bows in daily lifeBows are usually conducted at a time of both meeting and parting. Bows almost unconsciously occur with the greeting phrases like “kon-nichiwa” 「こんにちは」, “ogenkidesuka”「お元気ですか」,“ja-mata”｢じゃあ、また｣ ,but are no longer used among the family. Members.
